Futaba 9C F/S question
I purchased a new 9C for my turbine Starfire and have a Fail Safe question. According to the book I can set my F/S function to a predetermined point eg; throttle to idle. O.K. fine.
But what I want to do is set it up the way the JR 10x is one my other plane. ]
The JR will take the engine to idle if signal is lost for .2 sec. and if signal is not re-established in 2 sec. it shuts the engine down. Can the 9C do this also? and if so, how?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Walt

RE: Futaba 9C F/S question
Interesting question. Does the delay function work during fail safe. I really don't think it does. About the only thing that I can think of is a shut off between the main tank and the header tank. Once you shut off is closed during a failsafe, it will starve the engine over time (5 seconds or so)
