Default Futaba tx/ JR servos, need help !!!!

Hey guys, need help!!!

Have a Bandit that my Futaba 5101 discontinued servos started acting funny. So to match the size I bought JR 4721. Now for some reason at my Futaba receiver the JR servos worked fine, but at the end of the extensions where I plug in the flying surface servos the new JRs start to do the electric boogie where the Futaba’s are steady. Anyone know why? Is it the extensions or Y connectors? Please help!!!!!

The JR servos like to have "chokes" on really long leads.

How long are your leads?
What is your power plant/engine?

Yes. Use chokes. The long leads are causing the interference.

Hey thankyou very much,
If somebody gets the chance, please type in what a choke is. Im logging of to try to get a hold of one to try it out.
In you guys opinion would it be worth it to change out all the extensions & wiring to top quality JR as I plan to do. To replace my Bandit would cost me about 9 Grand, so the cost or work involved to replace wiring & add chockes doesnt matter much to me.

A "choke" is designed to cut interference in the leads. JR is far more sensitive to this "problem" than Futaba. Going to JR brand leads won't help unless they are "choked" leads. Long leads have more tendency to have some interference.

Does not happen when you used a JR radio/receiver.

I'm going to try Dimond connectors with heavy gauge braided wire and an amplifer or choke on the servo end. But for everyones info who followed this post, In my independent studies I definitely noticed only the JR servos were effected in my configuration and it didn't matter whether they were high or low torque. Futaba and Hitech were not affected at all.
Something for thoes of you who plan to mix systems to think about, ALTHOUGH Ive never run into this problem before!

Heliboy,
FYI, JR servos will also do it with JR receivers. This is very normal and JR will tell you to use chokes or amplifiers with leads longer than X length (sorry, its been a long time since i flew JR and don't recall what the length is.)

Thankyou AnnMARIE & ALL OTHERS WHO WAS A GREAT HELP !!!
I MUST SAY I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED AFTER CONTACTING JR PRODUCT SUPPORT. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THE PERSON WHOM I SPOKE TO DIDNT HAVE A CLUE, WHEN I TOLD HIM I WAS USING A 9ZAP HE SAID "WHATS A 9ZAP" (not that bad), but after he kept insisting it was my receiver causing interference & refused to transfer me to someone who maybe had a bit more experience (he said the'yd say the same). From what I learned by this post I would seriously think it should be common knowledge around JR product support.Well anyway, I realized I had hit a brick wall & could only say "thankyou for your help", then I turned to my RCU buddies & got my answers !!!
SHAME ON JR PRODUCT SUPPORT. ( atleast via phone)

I hope they are paying AnnMarie enough for this level of support. I mean where else can you get this kind of support.
