Futaba 9C compac how to copy?
Does anyone know the correct step by step procedure to copy model memory from one compac module to another or directly to the 9C radio?
I have looked through the manual and also looked on the Futaba web site and have not found any procedures for doing this. I would like to copy some model memories from a friends compac to my compac and I really dont want to mess anything up by doing this wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Bob

RE: Futaba 9C compac how to copy?
The way I do mine is a little tedious but does the job. I keep all of my plane on the Campac. I have 2 9C's with 2 aftermarket Campac modules ( for back up and redundancy ). This way if something happens to my radio I still have all of my setting on the chip. With 20+ planes I don't even want to think about a memory loss. Take each plane and go to the select model screen, then just copy from the desired plane to a number high enough to be on the chip. I believe the 9C holds 8 planes, so copy from number 9 on up.
If you have any questions just PM me.

John, thanks for the info. That is a great idea to have all planes on the compac in case something happens to your radio. I will give this a try.
Thanks again! Good flying! Bob

RE: Futaba 9C compac how to copy?
What I do is have 1-8 in the radio and 9-14 are on the compac I duplicate 1-6 in 9-14. I use 7 & 8 as copies of my planes to allow others to fly them on the buddy box or for training purposes.
