Default old futaba radio

Hi all,

DOn't hate me for all the questions, but I have one more...IF it is an AM radio, but has the gold sticker on the back can I still use it? Doesn't the gold sticker mean it meet the narrow band requirments?

Since it is the FG series you can put in an FM module and fly FM.
These modules usually can be found at swap meets or on e-bay. These are great radios -probably the best non computer radio ever made.

Since it is an older radio, be wary of the battery pack. Although is looks like a 9cell, it is actually 8.
There is a "dummy" cell in the pack.
