Default Hitec 225 for DP Ultimate ailerons?

I am looking to use the Hitec 225's in the 120 DP Ultimate for the ailerons. The model requires a servo per aileron ( 4 total). Any input on this set-up? Advise? Recommedations? Thanks, EdMan

Get the metal gear 225's if you go that route. The plastic 225's strip awfully easy. I used 425's in my ailerons and the roll rate is like a fun fly and the 425 has a larger tougher gear set, cheaper too. Of course you can save about 3 oz with the 225's but I doubt you would notice the difference, It's not like 12 lbs on almost 1200 sq inches of wing (if memory serves) flies heavy

I wouldn't risk the price of the Ultimate on light-weight servos such as the 225's even if metal geared. Just my opinion. I am even a little worried on my 225MG's on a 40 sized CAP.

Thanks for the input. If I go with the 225's, I would most certainly go MG. There's not too much room in the wings. I have thought about the Hitec mini digital. Although there abit $$$ ( $200) in ailerons along that route. [sm=spinnyeyes.gif] Ummmmmmmm
