Default HItec 55 mounting

I am building a HOB Spacewalker and using a HItec 55 for the throttle servo and 81's for the rest. The 81's have a rubber mounting cushion and the 55 doesn't. Should I make a small rubber shim for under the mounting plate to dampen the vibration? This plane will be powered by a OS .10.

Thanks,
Dave

It's probably not a bad idea as it should extend the life of the servo. If you have some spare gromets around, I'd try to modify them. Otherwise, I'd think any mounting method that helped isolate vibration and shock would be better than a hard mount. Cheers.

Or use double-sided foam tape.
