- The Futaba 9CAP goes for around 379.99 http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=LXBKN7**&P=FR

- The Airtronics Stylus goes for around 519.99 http://store.yahoo.com/internet-rc/aistfmsefora.html

As far as features..not to familiar with that. I hope this helps.

The Airtronic Stylus has several feature cards that can be used to increase feature and store extra models. I really like the memory card. It will store up to 50 simple models. Mine holds about 18-20 real complicated programs. Any switch can be assigned to any feature as well. Dont know much about the 9CAP. I have the Stylus and have been very happy with it. I fly mostly scale and really like all the goodies & features. Especially the sliders for flaps. I know some of the Futabas have the sliders, but sure about the 9CAP.

Does the radio come with all these cards or do I have to buy them seperatly? It will get really expensive if it doesnt come with them...

The 9CAP has 2 sliders I think.

The 9C has two sliders... I have a friend who has a Stylus and he really likes it. I think it is a radio this is under appreciated and gets lost in the inevitable JR/Futaba wars...

I have a Stylus and my best friend has a 9 CAP. Even though the 9C programming is much improved over the old 8U's, the Futaba programming is still not as user friendly as the Stylus. All Jim does with the 9C is some basic mixing and expo where I use much more of the capabilities of the radio cause it's much more intuitive and easy to program. The feature cards are extra, but expand the capabilities of the radio considerably and are worth it.
Oh, yea, the Stylus has sliders on both sides too.

i have the stylus and am very happy with it. the stock radio has airplane heli and glider selections on it from the factory. the cards add more to it and a few people that i have talk to say it comes close to the jr10x with the cards. i have the heli card and the 50 model memory card, and will be gettin the aero card. that will help a little more doning the 3d . there nothing out there that it cant fly or be compatitable with. just go to the airtonics.com web site and check it out. then go to the futaba site ect, and compare. i just like the easyer programing with the stylus.

Do you think that the Stylus will be good for 3D without the expansion card for airplanes?

Thanks
