Default PCM transmiter/receiver question

I have a futaba conquest 6channel PCM transmiter(6npk). The crystal is on channel 30. The radio is old, but is gold stickered. Do I need to use a "PCM" receiver with this radio? I fly a park flyer with a hitec feather four channel single conversion receiver and if possible I would like to keep using this receiver.
Secondly, can this radio be switched between PCM and PPM?

thank you for any help,

Dave

Default RE: PCM transmiter/receiver question

According to Futaba's RX compatibility table (http://www.futabarc.com/radios/modulation.html) you can only use a PCM 512 RX with that transmitter. Below is a list of compatible RXs. Unfortunately they are all discontinued by Futaba. There is no indication that Futaba currently sells a 512 PCM RX.

- R128DP 512 PCM DISC 1998

- R127DP 512 PCM DISC 1994

- R118GP 512 PCM DISC 10/90

- R116GP 512 PCM 3/88-10/90
