Default Will the Futaba Fail Safe Unit work with a NIMH RX Pack

Hey,
I have prolly close to $1000 tied up in my new RC10GT and the last thing I want it to do is run away due to a low battery or interference. The FS1 ( Fail Safe Unit) would be great for my GT but before I spend $50 on it I want to make sure it will work with a NIMH receiver pack. Please let me know if it will work or not and if it won't what other alternatives I have.

Thanks

I see no reason that the fail safe would not work with NIMH batteries, I feel it's a non issue.

If the Rx has power, failsafe will work.

The type of battery shouldn't be a factor.

Have any of you guys used Futaba's Fail Safe Unit? I was told it would be a great investment.

Thanks
