Default JR and Airtronics radio equipment campatibility

Can anyone tell me if for sure if an Airtronics receiver is campatible with a JR transmitter, as long as each brand uses it's own brand crystal? Also, does anyone have any JR or Airtronics aircraft (4 Ch or more) radios that they want to sell as parts only? Thanks.

In the US Airtronics and JR both use positive shift so (if both or either AM or Both FM) they should work together. The order of the outputs may be different but just plug the servos into the right channel should work. i.e. the first slot may be ailerons if using one transmitter but elevator on the other brand transmitter.

JR and Airtronics PPM (FM) receivers are interchangable. PCM Rx's look for the company specific proprietary encoding and are not interchangable. Use JR crystals in JR Rx's and Airtronics crystals in Airtronics Rx no matter which Tx brand your using.

Ok, so as long as I use PPM mode, it doesn't matter whether I use JR or Airtronics... Thanks guys.
