Default digital trims

i have a question to ask about digital trims. When i am triming my model out with digital trims will it save it to the model memory, becasue when i move the trims on the radio i have at the moment, which doesnt have digiatl trims it leaves the nest model i choose untrimed agian, so it leaves me to trim the model again.

thanks, i hope it makes sence.

In most cases, yes, your previous trims will correspond to the model your are currently flying. It's different than the non-digital trim radio. What radio is it anyway?

It saves your trim settings every time you turn it off. If you change to a different model, the trim settings will be the same as the last time you flew that model. I couldn't imagine going back to mechanical trims again.

and neither can the radio manufacturers. those four pots cost an arm and a leg compared to 8 momentary tact switches....

On Multiplex Profi 4000, it has manual trims, but when you power up the radio, the trim settings are noted from the last time you used it, and if they are in the wrong place, little arrows show up to tell you to move the trim levers back to where they should be...too cool..

What's the reasoning behind that? Sounds like a pain in the butt to me...

thanks for all you replys, to answer your question Bob_nj, my transmiter at the moment is a JR F500, with two model memory, anolouge trims, which can be frustrating when changing model.
