Default FMA Co-Pilot

Can you mount the FMA Co-Pilot senor on the bottom of the airframe rather than on the top. I have med. wing plane and looking for a place to mount the senor.

Default RE: FMA Co-Pilot

mount it any place you like as long as you don't obstruct the sensors field of view or expose them to exhaust heat and oil. looking through the prop arc is ok.

not sure about the regular co-pilot but with the FS8 you can also turn the sensor module 45 deg. in order to mount it behind a canopy without blocking its view. the FMA site has full instructions for both systems.
