I did see some examples of the exaggerated normal prices. They try to make the scratch-and-dent look good.
But there can be some REALLY good deals there. The good deals don't last long. I picked up some good discounts on stuff in scratch-and-dent listed as discontinued and box damage only. I was going to pick up another Super 8 radio, but NOOO!!!!
They do have some stuff that's been there forever. I can see why it's been there forever.
I got a couple (two!) new Kyosho SenSation 1400 ARFs there for about the price of a single (one) wing kit for the same plane.

I did get a heck of a score off there a few years ago though. The ad said an aristocraft bluebird or something the plane was called. The price was like 50-75$. I thought it was just the plane. well, when I got it, it was the plane, a 4 channel radio and a .25 engine!!

bgi, when I said stuff has been there forever I meant stuff that is sold out or no longer available for like weeks is still listed as there and you only find out its gone when you hit "buy". Makes it look like a lot of stuff. Someone mentioned the LT-40 ARF for 92 a while back and it was gone. It still is listed as if it's available until you hit buy. Then it indicates no longer available. I have no patience for things like that. My time is more important than they think it is, obviously.
