Default Airtronics RD8000 flaps issue

I have a new RD8000 radio and I am confused on the flap programming. I have the Flaperon active and have my left wing servo into ch2 and right into ch6 on the RX. All works well the both servos funtion properly as ailerons. But when I try flaps they go up instead of down.

The book says "if the flaps go up change the polarity of the program". Now how does one do that?

I tried flap EPA, but can't get negative values, only 0% to 150%. HELP[][&o][X(]

Go to the REV menu and reverse the flap channel.

hattend - are you saying I should reverse the flap channel (6?). If I do that it only reverses one of the servos (right wing).

I reversed both that and the ailerons - then the flaps worked fine, but the ailerons were backwards!

Do I need to swap the servos from ch2 and ch6?

Sorry to be thick, but this is driving me crazy!

Yeah, try switching the servos where they plug into the receiver and then try the reversal routine if needed.
