New radio please advice!
Hi!
Planning on buying a new radio for my airplanes. Reason for upgrading is a couple a things:
* my radio is very old (9years) and is repird a couple of times.
* got a brand new TF mustang and don't want to put old stuff in it that may break during operation. []
* i need more channels then my Hitec flash 5 can give me. i need like 6 at least.
I need information/advices about new radios...
I want it to have a big display and it should have 7-8 channels.
Please share your experiences! /Blue Moon

RE: New radio please advice!
SInce you already have Hitec gear, he obvious choices would be the Hitec Optic 6 or Eclipse 7.
Otherwise, you could consider the JR 6102 or 8103 or Futaba 7/9 CAPs. All meet your criteria and are solid radios.

I'll second drossk's advice, hard to beat the new Optic 6. Also, if you get it with the Spectra module, you will be able to use just about any brand receiver as it is shift selectable.

I have the Eclipse 7, good radio but I would spend the extra couple bucks and get a Futaba 9C.
You won't be sorry that you did, this radio is so easy to program and will work quite well with your Hitec gear.
