Default during last summerWouldn't turn left....

Well, during last summer, I bought a cheap RC car at my local hobbyshop, I wanted to take the RC equipment out and put it in one of my RC Submarine models for an extra channel function, but after I finished the disassembling, I noticed that when I turn the control stick left, the motor won't turn left anymore, it works when I turn it right, but left function is just...dead..... did something broke when I disassembled it? I was being really careful, and I don't think the power was on when I did this. Can anyone help me fix this?

Thanks,

It's more likely that you burned out a transistor in the servo amplifier. Try a different servo on that channel and see if it works. Because the servo amplifier is such a difficult part to change, in the long run it may be better to buy a new servo.
