Well, I went down to the local race track for the first time last weekend... I've always just been a back yard basher, but thought I would try some sanctioned racing.. paid 15 bucks, and ended up placing 6th out of 42 people! Not bad for my first time... anyways, I discovered that I'm really limited by my stock t/maxx controller... My friend recommended an L8, but it was around 300 dollars, and I really don't think I have to spend that much.. Is there any good quality radio's that will accomplish my needs? I found out Changing crystals is a must, because I had to be left out of one of the races because I was sharing freq with someone who was a regular, and they weren't going to make him change crystals!

Check this out; it's brand new and has all the bells and whistles you'll need. Get the Monster Trcuck version with the high torque HS-645 metal geared servo for about $150.

only one option as far as i am concerned it is a JR XS3 synthesized so u set it on whatever channel u want, it has end point adj,
exponential, and more ....... it's awesome
