Default Routing antenna past servos and battery

In trying to balance my latest project (a GP Trainer 60 with floats) with minimal added wait, I placed the battery and servos as far back in the radio compartment as possible. The RX goes forward of these. Since I like to route the antenna inside the fuselage, it has to go right by the servos and battery. Am I just begging for interference problems? TX is a Futaba 8UAF with an older Futaba FM RX (from the FGK series) and S148 servos.

I am sure that in my younger, more naive, less worrisome days I did this without even thinking and with no problems. But, now I lose sleep over this kind of stuff

Thanks,

Default Antenna routing

When routing the antenna, just make sure that you keep the antenna wire as far from the servos and their wiring as possible.
If the antenna is too close to the wiring, the resulting crosstalk could cause a range reduction. About two inches separation should suffice. Feeding the antenna wire down a piece of ny-rod attached to the inside of the fuselage is a good way to keep the antenna where you want it.

Also be watch out for metal push rods they can also cause interference.

Default Routing antenna past servos and battery

Intresting. Iv got an us 40 where I mounted the bat kinda far back. The rx is just infront of the servo tray, so the ant. has to go under the tray and the servos. I dont think there two inc. to seperate it out. hummm
