Glad I'm not the oly one who took the plunge!
Hi all,
Had my 14MZAP for 4 days now and digging it... Only wish there had been a way to transfer my CAMPAC models... oh well.
Obviously the manual is a temp. version from the japanese version so the true english version should be on it's way shortly.
A second battery for 2 grand would have been nice but I've already been told that a sony 1800 MVH 7.2 Volt will fit and will
power the unit for just 20 min less. I'll prob. wait for availability of the Futaba rather than risk the wrath of the warranty gods.
Funny, the younger guys at my field thought it was cool and the older guys looked at me with distain for spending that kind of $$$ for a radio... Good thing I don't care!!!!
