I want to change channels.
I have a skysport 6 (Futaba) on channel 21. I need to change channels if it is possible but I want to know whats all involved in it. Some people have told me I would have to get my radio re tuned, some have told me if I change to a channel close to mine that I wouldn't
Any info. would be great.

Due to FCC rules, you need to send it to Futaba to have it changed and retuned...
Some poeple just switch out the crystal, and it will probably work....but it might not and it is against FCC rules

To reiterate, you should not change the transmitter crystal on your own. Send it in. Radio South is pretty close to you, give them a shout. http://www.radiosouthrc.com/

thanx much. I spoke to my hobby guy today, he also told me of a $500. fine if i changed them myself. He also spoke of radio south and futaba. for $40. I can get it done which is'nt bad. I'm glad I asked it could have been very costly. thanks again
