I have a Evo 12 with synth module and scanner. Ever since installing the scanner module the radio will not allow me to change channels!!! took the scanner module out and the radio still will not allow me to change channels. Has anyone else encountered this problem???

Don't want to ask the obvious, you are holding down thw setup(spanner) button when you switch on?

yep...

Like I said it worked fine prior to installing the scanner module.....ever since, I cannot get it to change from channel 11...other than that the radio still works fine.

I think it might well be a faulty scanner.
If i'm not mistaken there is a mention of channel 11 being a problem on another forum (RCgroup) massive threads on there about the Evo, some one on there may be able to help better than me.
Not long had mine so I am still learning it. But what a great radio.

this afternoon I tried swapping the the synth module with one from another Evo.....works just fine....put my synth module back in...stuck on ch11....so it looks like it is a synth module problem.
