Default WIMPY TX SPRINGS

Is there an easy way to install TX springs in the Futaba 8UAP and 9C? I have installed the stiff springs from Radio South in each of the above, but it is a tedious, time consuming job to get the inner end of the spring attached. Then it is a bit of a worry period to know if it is actually firmly and correctly in place as that end can not be seen.

I was told the 9C would come with stiff springs. My springs might be Futaba's definition of stiff springs, but it is certainly not mine.

There must be an easier way! Any help appreciated.

TIA<,,,,,,,,,,Dave

Dave forgive me if this seems obvious but some don,t know. Did you adjust your spring tensioner to its limit? Also when you were changing the springs did you first relax the tensioner to the limit before changing and then readjust to the stiffness you like?

Yes,I relaxed the spring tensioners. No trouble to remove the springs.

Before this,I jacked the tension as high as would go,and flew several flights. Stick springs just too soft.
