JR PCM 10 Question
I aquired a JR PCM 10 From my father-in-laws estate. I hope some one could help me with an issue I have. First of all he bought it less than a year ago and we flew with this transmitter many times with out a single problem or glitch. My problem is I just tried the radio for the fisrt time and turned it on and immediatly the transmitter kept beeping and a message came up on the LCD Screen and said WARNING! Check Switch! Is this normal? I finally figured out how to prevent this from happening. The Flap Toggle switch has to be kept in the up or center position. When it is in the down position and you turn the radio on thats when this problem < or I think its a problem> occurs. When the radio is turned on and working fine , I can put the toggle switch in any position , up-center-or down and everything works fine. If this is normal, for what purpose is it? Your help is much appreciated.

RE: JR PCM 10 Question
This is a feature of the radio. It is a warning that you are in a flight mode other than take-off. I think this feature can be disabled, but once you get used to it, it is a good feature. In my case, I use a flight mode for 3d flying (very large deflections). But if I turn on the transmitter in this mode, it beeps until I put it into the takeoff mode. This prevents me from taking off with too much control throw.

RE: JR PCM 10 Question
This is an airplane radio, I want to thank you for the help. I aquired the radio from my father-in-laws estate and the manual is missing.
I am glad this radio is fine!
