JR rec. type R770s PCM troubles
Guys, have any of you who use this Rec. have any problems with sporadic elevator glitching problems or even quitting alltogether then coming back on line after a couple of moments. [especially after it causes the crash of a very expensive BME] Reciever is a JR R770 PCM 7 Ch. Thanks, MM

I have several and another on order. Mine have been rock solid. I fly an 8103 and am slowly buying all PCM. I do fly on 50MHz, but I don't think that can have any connection with a glitch.
Have you tried a different servo on the elevator channel?
Are you running digital servos? I can tell you that digitals will hum, scream (Hitech) and seem to glitch (JR). JR sets the deadband at near 0 so without any air loading you can expect the servos to jump around slightly at center. If you touch the control very lightly, it will quit. It doesn't do this in the air. Hitech and others set their deadband wider so they usually don't appear to glitch. When mine do this, I know I have a servo that will really center tightly. It bothers my buddies who don't fly digitals, but there's really nothing wrong.

Maybe you got a bad one. I suggest you send it in for checking. I think horizon does this. I have 6 770's and 5 700's. No problems with any of them.
