Can I use my OLD Tx and Rx?
First off, I don't know anything about transmitters and receivers and I am looking for some advise. I have an OLD Futaba FP-T4L (42 - 72.630 MHz) transmitter. The receiver has Futaba IC, 4 channel Receiver, FP-R4F Mode II, Digital Proportional System, (42 - 72.630 MHz) on it. I'm guessing these were purchased around 1979 or 1980. Are any of you guys familiar with these models? Is it still O.K. for me to use these old models at a flying field? Thanks, Bret - Dallas, TX

Humm,
According to Radio South: http://www.radiosouthrc.com they will narrow band a transmitter for $15 plus shipping. I even e-mailed them about my Futaba FT-6FG transmitters and they said yes they can do that.
So is it a FCC reg NOT to update these transmitters or a Futaba policy?
Humm....
Later!
