Default interferance

Are you using a nonconductive throttle push rod; this is most important. I have been flying big gas engines, mostly Quadras, with regular PWM (no PCM) for years with never a problem. I always keep the kill switch circuitry in front of the firewall and use a nyrod throttle pushrod. Other than keeping the radio electronics at least 8 inches back from the engine, I used no other precautions other than what was mentioned above; i.e. no metal to metal contacts that could vibrate and use a resistor type plug. This has worked with all Futaba, Prism and Eclipse transmitters.
