Default Futaba receiver antenna issue Please Help!

I was removing a Futaba 7 channel FM receiver form one of my planes and I accidentally broke the antenna in half when I pulled on it to hard. Is it safe to solder the antenna back together.

Thanks.

Yes, works fine just try to end up with 39 inch length and shrinkwrap the joint. You can also easily replace by soldering new good quality 24 to 26 AWG stranded wire to the tail of original just outside the case if the original at the exit grommit is in good shape.
