Default Futaba 7-CAP Service Menu

Some Webpages actually show how to access their computerised radio's Service Menu.
Futaba are bloody tight when it comes to sharing. Does anybody know how to do this on the 7-CAP?

Does the 7C use a campaq? If yes then you probably short 2 pins with a special campac. If not then it is probably a combonation of buttons when you power it up.

I'm interested to know this too. Didn't even know about such a thing till I ran across this thing.

What does this menu do anyways?

In the 9c it allows you to say what switches are installed where and what defaults come up.

A 9CHP can set to default to helicopter type with pcm modulation where a 9CAF can be set to default to acro with PPM modulation. Also the A and H version have some switches reversed, you can go in and say switch F is 2 postion and H is 3 position (just an example I don't remember the actual switch labeling)

Also Hobby Services is allowing 3 position switch upgrades so you would have to go in and say that swich A is now 3 position, etc.

I imagine its similar in the 7C

WOW. I'd love to have another 3-pos switch on my 7C. I don't know what I would use it for but it would be nice to have. I'm sure I could find a use for it somehow.
