Using a 9-channel transmitter with a 4-channel receiver.
I've never tried this before, but thus far it doesn't seem to be working. Can it be done?

RE: Can I use a 9-channel transmitter with 4-channel receiver?
In most cases, yes. However, I did have an issue with an old Hitec micro (a 535, I think) with the Futaba 9C. The pulse train is too long for the old 5-channel window. It resetes and thinks the late pulse in the train is the synch pulse, and goes nuts. I understand the newer (555?) hitec is fine.
I have flown many 4 and 5 channel RX's, even the GWS pico 4ch, with my 9C. The old Hited/RCD is the only one I have run into problems with.
