9250 bad?
i just bought a futaba 9250, and i hear bad things about gears wearing and replacing them... (its for a heli rudder) should i sell it and get a 9253?

9250 bad?
The 9250 will not last forever in a tail rotor application. The gears do wear over time, but it should work for quite a while. I had one last at least a year with weekend flying. when I replaced the gyro with a 601, the 9250 servo was still working OK.
I'll probably put it into a plane.
The gear set for the 9250 is quite expensive, so you'd be ahead the first time you broke the gears if you go for the 9253.

oh well i bought one anyway... deal at $85! i figured if my 9250 cost me $110 off heli world, and this one cost me $85 im still in the green.
