Default Hitec optic 6 Programming problems

I can't tune the optic 6!
I am using a Jr R700 Reciever. The receiver is being contacted by the transmitter but the controls are not responding. e.g. I move the elevator stick and nothing happens or the rudder throttle and aileron, same thing happens nothing!!!! however when I turn the tx of the servos go wild, but when it is turned on the servos don't move back to central they just stop and don't do anything. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be.

Are the TX and RX on the same frequency? Is the Optic 6 set for Positive Pulse?

Make sure that the Optic6 is set to positive shift and to PPM, not QPCM,

I have the same problem with the Optic 6 and JR700 receiver.
The servos go wild when the xmitter and switch are turned on. The stick movement has no effect.
If you find out the solution please let me know.

I suppect single conversion?????????

I have the same set up optic 6 and JR 700 and they work great. I would say try
another receiver.
