Default What type of transmitter?

Hi all:

Want to get in to the R/C hobby but want to cover electric helies and airplanes.
Is there a radio that is suitable for both?

Thanks

G'day mate
I have just bought a new radio that can cover helis and planes.
Try the Hitec Optic 6.
It is easy to use and the instructions are well detailed.

Try having a look at the Airtronics RD6000/8000 series. Very easy to program. Will run both helis and fixed wing.

Look at the JR 6102, JR 8103, and JR 9303 systems. They all have fixed wing and helicopter programming. The 8103 and 9303 also have glider specific programming. They are easy to program and are very reliable.

Look at Futaba 7C. A little more expansive is the Futaba 9C. Both are easy to program.
