Default Berg Receiver Problem

Tonight I opened a NIB Berg 4 Micro Stamp RX (from the Berg production, before Castle took over), and I can't seem to get it to work. TX is a JR XF622 (works-tested with another receiver and servos), Castle Pixie 20P ESC (works-measured 5VDC to the RX), two HiTec 55 servos (they work with the other RX), and 5VDC measured out of the RX to the servos. Signal voltage is zero. Crystals match, Ch 58 72.950.

Now, the LED on the Berg comes on as it should, but does not go off. That seems to be telling me that the RX has not recognized the transmitter signature.

My question: Now what? Anything else I can do? Or is the RX on the fritz?

TIA,
Kelvin
