Default Hitec servos

Hi, Is it necessary that I have the Hitec programmer for operation of Hitec 5245 and 225 servos, when used with a Futaba 9C and a PCM receiver?

Thanks, Henry

Before you fork out $ for the HS225 (or the HS5245, the same servo with a digital amp), do a search here for "HS225 problems" and then decide for yourself if they're the right servo for the job.
