I received the Great Planes 1.60 Ultimate Bi-Plane ARF for Christmas. I have been racking my brain about the servos that I am going to install in it. I use an Airtronics RD8000 radio and would prefer to stick with 4.8volts. I've been looking at going with 6 volts but again I've been beating my head against the wall there too. According to the manual I need servo specs. as follows.

Ailerons - four 75 oz-in
Elevator - two 75 oz-in
Rudder - one 130 oz-in or two 70 oz-in
Throttle - whatever

I do not want any questionable servos in my plane but I don't want to spend a fortune either.
I've been eyeballing some Hi-Tec servos
HS-5645MG Rudder
HS-5625MG Ailerons & Elev.

What do you guys think?

I think you will be real happy with this combination. My flying buddy has a Dave Patrick Ultimate running the same servos and it does well.
