Deans back to stock
I did a search for this but can't find what I'm looking for. I have a Dean's antenna on the RX that is going into my Telemaster and I want to change it back to stock. I talked to the owner at one of my LHS but wanted to make sure the information was correct before I started. He said to use 22 gauge wire at 37" long (Futaba). From the looks of things servo wire is about 22 gauge but I don't have a length of that I can use. I do have a nice length of wire from one of my stock Futaba wall chargers because I don't use them. The insulation looks thicker but the wire itself is the same size. Can I use this? This is the first time I have done this. Should I just make a connection or solder a new wire on the circuit board?

RE: Deans back to stock
It should work OK.
It makes a cleaner installation to solder it to the board but if you don't want to tackle that, making a connection will work OK too.
Since the current it must carry is very small, there is nothing critical about the antenna wire. You could use the exhaust pipe if it were long enough.
