optic 6
in search of a new transmitter and was looking at, well just about everything i can find to look at. the optic looks good to me, I was just curious if anyone knows if you can put all 3 dual rates/expo on one switch with this thing. or any other radio for that matter. the reason I ask is because now i fly the typhoon and it is set up like this and I really like it, I just want a better transmitter that does it so I can play with the mixes. anyway all info is greatly appreciated. if there is a better deal out there i'd be greatfull to know of it. thanks a ton.

I have been looking at the Optic 6 as a replacement for my aging Airtronics Infinity 660, it seems the optic 6 has more flexibilty than it's competitors. You can probably answer your specific question by downloading the manual from their website. my old airtronics allows you to use 1 switch to switch rates on all three channels, that's how I switch from "sport" to "3D" mode on my Hanger 9 Twist, both modes have a heavy dose of expo. I never use use dual rates on a normal sport plane, just set the throws to a good high rate then use expo to tame it down, the guy I learned to fly from called them "crash switches"

RE: optic 6
No you cannot, but the Eclipse 7 does. It has three flight mode switches that allows you to flip one switch to change all three dual rates and expos. The Eclipse also splits the elevator and rudder dual rates where the Optic combines the two on one switch.
