I don't want to be arrogant, but with todays prices, wouldn't you simply want to buy a new one. That is one outdated radio you are talking about.

Nope, Not arrogant on your part...
Roger, It was the fist radio I ever flew with, Just want to keep it at the "Ready"! I have all kinds of computer wiz-bang radios.... Only have one MRC!

You might want to try Radio South http://www.radiosouthrc.com
They recently narrowed banded my Futaba Fp-6FGK am radios for me. (early 80's sets)
