I just got this really cool BMW M3 remote control car. Unfortunatley it doesn't have a controller for it. Its a 27MHZ so I think all i need is a controller with the same frequency (right).

It should be here within a few days (got it off ebay). Here is a quick picture:




I did a quick search but theres just too much for me to comprehend. I know next to nothing about RC cars, im guessing this stuff is like second nature to you guys so i figured I myswell ask.

Some of the stuff you guys do is crazy. All ive got is a few little old toys (Tyco Richochet,old school bandit).

Welcome to rcu, I have never seen that before. When you get the car possibly you can get a pic of the receiver (part that the antenna is hooked to) and someone may be able to point you in the right direction for a transmitter. It is probably a 2 channel 27 mhZ AM radio and there are usually only 6 different frequencies available.

Ok, i got the car today, here is what i know.

It says INspection 27mhz on one sticker and inspection 8 on another. THen it says Tyco R/C made by Taiyo in Singapore. Here are some pictures:







Im going to clean this car up and possibly put new tires on (if i can find some).

I REALLY need a new controller, if someone could help that would be awesome.

Ok, i got a 27mhz controller(from an old zip zaps car). It works, but it always turns to the right. Im sorry if this is in the wrong forum, if it is can a mod please move it.
