Default Single conversion receiver and glow helicopter/airplane use

Hello,

I bought a receiver Multiplex Micro-IPD and I was planning to use it in my Raptor 30. I now realize that it is a single conversion and not a double conversion. Can I still use it in a helicopter or even in a glow airplane?

Thanks for your inputs,

Le fou

Default RE: Single conversion receiver and glow helicopter/airplane use

Sure can, as long as it matches the transmitter modulation mode and frequency. Some people would recommend against it because of a slight theoretical increased possibility of interferrence. There are still a lot of them in almost daily use without problems.
