Default Hidden Servo Linkages

Hello all,

Somewhere on RCUniverse I have seen hidden servo arms (Described as something that is used a lot in Jets etc) but I am unable to find them or any links or even an obscure mention of them. I am hoping smeone knows what I am talking about. These things slip on the servo output shaft and look like a rod with a 45 or 90 odd degree bend in the end. The Servo and rod are fully enclosed in the wing. The bent end is inserted between something like Formica material in the ailerons or flaps. The Servo twists the whole thing and the flaps and/or ailerons move to.
Any ideas and/or links would very much be appreciated.

Also, These will be for a 118" Ziroli B25. I plan on using these connected to JR DS8611a High Torque servos. Any input on if these would/should wotk in this application would be very much appreciated.

George

George,

Do you mean these?

Oh, and Servocity has these too,

http://www.servocity.com/html/servo_shaft_adaptors.html

and an RCU search on "hidden horns" came up with this

Thank you, Yes. That is them. (It appears I was searching for the wrong thing.)
That is exactly what I am looking for. Now, has anyone used these on a large scale warbird like the B25 or similer?

Thanks to all

The last time I looked at the set I have and wanted to use it seemed that I could not use recessed scale hinge line because the bend in the actuating arm needs to be at the hinge line so I would have to allow lots of clearance which I could not hide. If you are going to use a V leading edge for your control surface then this should be the ticket. I choose to have scale hinges and a visible horn.

George,

Yes, I agree the wrong search term can take you to China and back the looong way! Now, a search on "RDS" came up with a thread on the Ziroli B-25. At 576 replies, this is supposed to be the "CONDENSED" version. Since it came up in the search, your answer should be in there somewhere, but it would probably be quicker to ask the question directly in the thread?

Good luck!
