Digitals vs. Coreless Analogs
I'm in the process of selecing servos and am in need of a few pointers.
I'm looking at Futaba 9202s for ailerons, which are non digital, coreless servos putting out 98oz. of torque on 6v. For the same price I can go with Hitech digital 5645s, which do not have a coreless motor but nearly doubles the torque at 162oz.
So my question: which will give better centering/resolution/etc - the coreless analogs or non-coreless digitals? Ideally I would like to get coreless digitals, but the wallet isn't quite that fat at the moment.
Thanks.

RE: Digitals vs. Coreless Analogs
The non coreless digitals will give better centering and resolution. I have test data on the two servos you are considering. If you are interested PM me.
