does anyone have any experience w. this antenna? i wont lose any range will it?

If these are the ones you meant the answer to your question is indeed they work very well. I can detect no range reduction and they provide several safety advantages that no telescopic type can. I have three antennas and use them on five Tx's all equiped with the adapter. I use them on everything from old timers to my 160mph Q500 competition airplanes.

HMM as far as being ugly Thats in the eye of the beholder, and they do match my favorite airplanes. you can guess which antenna goes with which airplane[8D]

just purchased one tonight.. i had forgot all about it untill tonight..been busy.. cant wait to get my hands on it
