Default MX 22 radio

Hi to you all, I have an MX 22 radio and would like to know how to assign a kill switch to the throttle. I want to use an on off switch rather than the trainer switch. I have read with interest the comments on the Mx22 I am a 72 yo novice with RC having been a free flighter many years ago. In a moment of madness I brought an MX 22 which I enjoy although I don't know how to program it, but I have a very capable wife and between us we wade through it and it is becoming very successful. I want to maintain the digital trim on the throttle, but a kill switch would be very handy as well, hope you can help (very easy plain english please)

regards
Cliff and Debbie

Default RE: MX 22 radio

hi cliff

one way this can be achieved is to use a mix:-

go to free mix and mix c1 to c1 select your switch.
then to the adj page select ASY with the throttle in the low position adjust the value till you get the desired extra throttle travel at the carb.

with the switch in the off position this action will have no effect on throttle travel or trim function
