what does ATV do on a FOCUS4 transmitter

Default what does ATV do on a FOCUS4 transmitter

I know this is a newbie question but I am hooking this transmitter up for a trainer I am using. I do not know what ATV means other than "all terrain vehicle. [&:]

Adjustable Travel Volume.

It sets the end points for the servo or how far the servo moves each direction for a full stick command.

Just as barracuda says. I might add that it is best to use this feature only as a last resort. First, adjust your throws by varying the lengths of the control horns or servo arms as; if you use ATV for this, you will lose resolution. ATV is most advantageously used on the throttle for glow engines.
