Default Tx and Rx compatibilty

I'm thinking of buying a 7 cap system. But I also have a model with a Hitec FM receiver that I want to use that system with in addition to the plane I'm putting the PCM receiver in. Are there compatiblily issues?

Thanks

As long as the Hitec reciever is negative (futaba) shift and you have a reciever crystal to match the transmitter channel then yes it will work.

PPM/PCM is selectable on a per model basis i the PARAMETER menu.

Thanks. I think it is negative shift. But I'll double check.
