Default Crystals in Tx Module for Optic 6

I have a Hitec HPF-Mi Tx module for my Optic 6 and I want to change freq. to match a different receiver. Can the crystals be changed or should I buy the complete module with the crystal installed to match the Rx?

The module could be "Re-tuned" to a new frequency. That would require sending it off for service, and would include installing a new crystal. It woulb be easier and cheaper to get a new module.

Thanks for your quick reply,Jeff.I should have realized it would be like changing the freq. in a transmitter. Had to check though............And I'll bet you get a lot of remarks on your call sign...........Bud

Why not just change the crystal in the receiver?

Why not buy the Spectra module and have all legal frequencies available to you at any time?
