Default What Channel is 40.240mhz?

Hi guys,

I just received my 40mhz Multiplex MM Cockpit with the number 240 written on the receiver crystal. Does anyone know what CH this converts to...ie. CH 53 etc?

Cheers,
Eddie

If purchased in Australia, then I highly doubt that the frequnecy would be 40.240 as Australian 40Mhz = MAAite.
http://www.silvertone.com.au/maa.htm
" 5.0.4 The 27 MHz band (26.957 - 27.283) is approved for licence-free use for any purpose. For the 27 MHz band, the operating frequency must be at least 5 kHz from the centre frequency of any adjacent Citizen Band radio channel and the emission bandwidth must not exceed 10 kHz. Maximum field strength
for both bands is 125 dB/Vm at 3 metres. The MAAA does not recommend the use of the 27 MHz band for the radio control of aircraft. 40.665 and 40.695 may be used if monitoring shows them to be free of interference." sounds like the actual frequency of the crystal which if single conversion equates to
40.240 + .455 = 40.695 = actual receiving frequency.
