Futaba 9C transmiter- Hitec receiver
Hello
I have a Futaba 9CAP in the freq 35.140. IF a put a 35.140 crystal in a FM Hitec receiver and I select FM in the 9CAP transmiter, should it work? could I have any problem?
Thank you very much

Yes it should. I really don't see why it wouldn't.
Just make sure you range check it with the antenna down, and motor running.
I am doing the same thing with a JR783 and 7channel duel conversion Hitec Supreme.

As long as the shift is the same and the Hitec receiver is designed for the 35 (instead of 72 MHz) band, you should be OK. European conventions are not the same as North american.
Make sure you do a careful range check before you fly!

Futaba 9C transmiter- Hitec receiver
My 1st post was probably inaccurate.
This makes more sense. I was thinking of 72MHz on a certain freq. channel. Also make sure the shift is the same as transmitter and RX. And as long as the RX and TX is on a 35MHz, and same channel freq.
make sure to do a range check with antenna down with motor running.

I am not very experience an my english is not as good as i would like. When you talk about shift? what are you talking about?
Both the Futaba transmiter and the Hitec receiver are designed in the 35 band.
Another thing is the range. Are you talking about making trials going far away from the aircraft and see if it works fine? (range check is equal to distance check?)
Thank you very much

will it work?
If the transmiiter frequency is 35.140MHZ a 35.140 MHZ crystal in the receiver will NOT work. The frequency of the receiver needs to be plus or minus the IF frequency from the transmitter frequency. The IF frequency of the receiver crystal is dependant on if it is a single or double conversion receiver. For a single conversion it is 455KHZ, for a double conversion receiver it is 10.7MHZ for the first IF
This is for the 72MHZ band in the US. The European receiver might be different in the 35MHZ band.
I would suggest that you send it to a European shop that can set it up for you. There are too many questions that you cannot get an answer to here.

Futaba 9C transmiter- Hitec receiver
Hello again
I have been looking the spec of the FF9 trasmiter and receiver R149DP.
In the receviver appears: Intermediate freq: 10.7MHZ and 455 KHZ.
In the trasmiter does not appear anything.
I have to check the Hitec receiver. Any comment?
