Don Edburg publishes a book on programming the Futaba 8u that is worth every penny. What you are trying to do is probably in the book.

You need to use 2 p-mix ...

Set OFS->FLP and then assign it to switch C in the position you want to.

I can't remember if you need 2 p-mixes with LINK ON or if you need 4 (one for each aileron).

I did it once for my UltraStick and worked perfectly.

You will need to have three mixes. One mix to set the flap for 15 degrees (use offset), one mix for full flaps (use offset) and a third mix to turn off the channel 6 knob. (0%)

Geistware is correct, 3 mixes. You must deactivate the channel 6 knob, or it will cause you all kinds of grief. I would suggest you invest in Don Edberg's book, well worth the nominal fee.
